Do you carry insurance?
Yes, we carry all necessary insurance required by Connecticut state law.
Are you registered with the state?
Yes, by law we are registered with the Department of Consumer Protection.
Do you have a minimum charge?
Yes, there is a $100 minimum charge. However, for smaller homes, adjacent properties and bi-annual cleaning we may offer a discounted price.
Does we have to be home during the process?
No, we only ask that you make sure the outside faucets are working.
What are acceptable forms of payment?
We accept cash, checks or money orders. We currently do not accept credit cards.
How often should gutters be cleaned?
We recommend twice a year (spring/fall). Once a year minimum (usually in fall).
Do you lean the ladders on the gutters?
No, all our ladders are equipped with stand-offs/stabilizers which allows us to work above the gutter without leaning the ladders directly on the them.
What is the process used to clean the gutters?
- We remove the debris from the gutters by hand.
- We place the debris into buckets (not thrown into bushes/lawn/garden/etc.)
- The buckets are emptied into the truck and the debris is taken with us to be recycled as compost.
Do you rinse out the gutters?
Yes. We rinse the gutters inside and out. By rinsing them thoroughly, it allows us to check for proper water flow and pitch. Also, it allows us to see if your down-spouts/leaders are clogged.
How long does it take to clean the gutters?
The average cleaning takes 45 to 90 minutes depending on condition, size and accessibility.
Do we need to contact you about follow-up cleanings?
No, we will keep your information on file and contact you to schedule future cleaning.
